Subject: OT Can MP chips run in motherboards designed for XP chips?

Greetings all,

I realise this is rather off thread but I have been given a MP2000+ chip by a
friend who has upgraded his dual and was wondering if it would be OK to use it
in my single CPU m/b which is currently running a XP1600+ processor and is
certified up to the XP2600+??

PS: My m/b is a K7N420 Pro MS-6373 V1.1 if that helps...
