*Please* people, understand that background detection is neither sufficient nor
a reliable method.

The fanatics will have *2 computers*, with the chess program running on the 2nd
computer. On the one which is connected with the server, nothing runs in the
background. They enter the moves in the 2nd computer, and then the progs reply
in the first... and believe me, they *can* do that even in fast blitz. It has
been demonstrated.

And checking for thinking times (?!) is an absolutely useless idea. Where does
that come from? I can't imagine that a serious chess server has even considered
that. Note that a constant thinking time per move would even prove that it
*can't* be a program... (that should really be obvious folks).
