The biggest difference so far has been price (less than 1/2 of PF 2) and 3 totally different engines. For those purchased that PF1, you had no upgrade to PF2. If you have Pocket PC 2000 (which I have), PF2 will not work (the new phase of programming - no backward compatibility?). The strength between PF1 and Ruffian running under PG is very close. Perhaps PG with Ruffian is even stronger. If you assume that PF2 has the Shredder 7 engine, then PF2 would be stronger than PG Ruffian (I guess?). I am very happy with PG, I see no reason to upgrade to PocketPC 2002, and I was very disappointed that after paying $50 for PF1, I would need to pay another another $50 for PF2 -- that's ridiculous pricing for a Pocket PC.
