Several of our two-dimensional games can be easily generalised to more dimensions. Checkers, Draughts, Go, Amazons, Reversi are good examples. Even in dimension three they have much higher branching factor and I expect them to be much more difficult to solve than their dimension two counterparts. As Uri pointed out, it is very easy to give examples of games with arbritrarily high branching factors, but that does not mean that they are difficult. José.
