Having two engines draw 500 times does not mean one definitely is a clone of the other. It means that they are roughly even in strength. Using the facade of a chess engine IMO is nothing like cloning it. A clone is taking the same code, eval and all, and changing the name. It is a bit like saying that a Mustang Saleen (to make an automotive analogy) is exactly like a stock Mustang since the body is the same. In reality, the former is a version of the latter which has been gutted and had the entire engine replaced. In other words, the ONLY thing that they share is a frame. Matt
