I have of course not read every book by Pandolfini (nor do I want to), but my very personal opinion based on a few of them and some of his old columns in Chess Life, is that his writings are of very low chess quality. He takes lots of material from other authors without giving proper credits (I think what he does is almost plagiarism) and without even correcting their mistakes, it seems he does not even try to find those mistakes. There were plenty of analytical mistakes in his columns, but finding them was not fun or even instructive. José.
