Chess Tiger is probably best for PalmOS because it offers full engine statistics as a menu option after the computer move has been made (unlike Genius). A problem with PalmOS machines is the ease of overclocking (much easier than any other platform); my Zire can be stably overclocked to twice the notional clock speed (32MHz rather than 16MHz). That makes comparisons tricky. I am amused to see that, even at 32MHz, Tiger 15.0 manages about 400 nodes per second. Yace Paderborn on my Athlon 2.4GHz manages over three orders of magnitude more (roughly 500,000 per second) yet Tiger can still whip me more often than not ;) Alastair
