It takes a long time even on an Athlon XP 2400+ with 128MB hash:

Yace Paderborn - 99 seconds (previously Kb6+)

Crafty - 138 seconds (ditto).

It takes, for example, Yace 23 ply to see that a Queen on g1 is better than a
Queen on a8, and then with only a slightly better score (7.6 as opposed to 7.1),
although the score starts to accelerate away thereafter (8.3 after 23 ply).
