the 300mhz celeron-A, or the 333mhz celeron are both very good chips,
with 128kb L2 cache that runs at cpu core speed, rather than core/2 like
the pentium II's (excepting the xeon).

They are not bad.  A PII/400 or /450 will be faster, however, and the newer
xeon-based machines will be faster still, but the xeon is *very* pricey
right now...
