Thanks for the try.  I tried this with the same results.  Genius locks up after
a couple of moves out of book.  The Clocks stop and the mouse pointer still
moves but I cannot select any menu items.  I forgot to mention one other curious
problem .  The Genius 4/windows program ask for the original disk everytime I
start the program.  It never seems to reset so I can use it about a month
without the disk (As in Windows 95/3.1).  Also, I run Fritz 5 with 140 Meg of
hash with no problem.  I run ChessMaster 5500 and I run Crafty with 48 Meg of
hash and 5 meg of hashp.  These programs have no problem like Genius4.
