Did you uninstall and then reinstall F8 from the CD or did you just remove the 8.0023 engine from the Engine folder and put back the 8.008. I first made a copy of the Fritz 8.008 engine before I did anything. Placed the copy in another folder (Not named engines)and placed it there for safekeeping. Only then did I try the Upgrade. I to believe that the 8.0023 engine is weaker. I tried the experiment many on this site have been questioning. That being the Ne4 problem.
