I >must be missing something! > >I'm just curious to see how they compare. > >Thanks. it shows the engine names. there are several screens that show the engine names. you have to differenciate that you can load personlities in at least 3 menues ! take the EXTRA define personality menue when you want to play against ONE engine yourself. take the WHITE load personality or BLACK load personality menue if you want to start eng-eng matches. there are 3rd methods (forgot the exact command) more on the left under levels or options. but forget those. use only EXTRA if you want to play 1 eng against you or another program and the WHITE / BLACK menue options when you want to do eng-eng matches. the engine IS shown. e.g. in the INFO window. and in other info-screens. i don't see your problem. when you start an ENG-ENG match the name of the 2 engines is even shown above the clocks. and the results are shown above the board ! what else do you want ?? there is plenty of information. where do you want the information to be seen ???
