The ChessBrain distributed computing chess project is about to make history. Based on the Beowulf code, ChessBrain is scheduled to set a new Guiness World Record for the largest number of computers used to play a single game of chess. I've set up the DC team "WINBOARD". So far, 6 team members. If you would like to participate, visit the ChessBrain website and download the client software. Be sure to configure the client and set the team to WINBOARD. http://www.chessbrain.net Chess Trivia: Beowulf, the engine that powers the ChessBrain PeerNode, is a Winboard engine.
