K6-3/450AFX is 20 watts. The Pentium 3 450MHz is 25 watts. Before you claim any CPU is 'blazing hot' or anything of the sort I highly recommend using a heatsink/fan that is not absolute garbage OR use that same exact heatsink on the Pentium 3 you had. You'd see the P3 would have been even hotter.
