Thats odd, because the KT133a itself isn't suppose to handle the XP. Now, I did
put an AthlonXP 1900+ in my old KT7a (KT133a) however the board is heavily
modified. I have a 2x2" heatsink on the chipset, all three 5 volt mosfets run
directly to the 5v rail on the psu and I modified the voltage controller to
allow for higher voltages. It works, somewhat. The system will still crash every
few days. With the old Thunderbird cpu the system was working perfectly. Lots of
other people couldn't even get a Palomino to post in their KT133a boards. If he
can get it to work, thats great. I'm just stating it doesn't 'officially'
support it and he could run into problems.
