Nothing has changed on the message board from day one. Computer chess issues have, are, and will be discussed apart from ICD. Our little link still exists at the bottom of the page as it has from day one. What has changed is that we have begun to design (with the generous help of Fernando Villegas and many volunteers and contributors) a Computer Chess Resource Center. It is here that we have chosen to place our logo and link prominently at the top of each page. The only sacrifice that I have asked of the members is that the board will only hold one week of messages (instead of 2 or3 weeks) until they are archived and the default setting will be put back to 12 hours (from 36 hours). If these two features are so important that they deserve an upgrade to our server, then if people wish to contribute to help absorb that expense, we will graciously accept those funds and promise to put them only to that use. But if we all can live with these two sacrifices and keep the project within reasonable boundries, there is no need for any contributions. - Steve (ICD/Your Move)
