I am _always_ "anti-war".  And "anti-violence".  But unfortunately, at some
point in time
you have to stop, stand up, and take action you would rather avoid, in order to
prevent even
_greater_ problems later.

Sometimes violence is the only solution.

There is no "arrogance" in this, IMHO.

Someone like Truman?  Someone like Kennedy?  Someone like Roosevelt?  Someone
like Lincoln.  _all_ of them had to make the _same_ decision at some point.  All
made it.
IE thank goodness for Truman or most of Europe would be speaking German today.

It isn't always the best answer.  But it is sometimes the _only_ answer.
