Subject: Help with Fritz' Import Book command

I own both Fritz and Shredder, and so have their respective opening books. I've
also downloaded the large ChessliB Elect opening book. Often when analyzing
games I check all three books, so I decided to create a new reference book
combining all three using the Fritz 'Import Book' command. This went fine, and I
was also able to strip the learning weights from the book. I would like the book
completely clean of annotation marks such as ?, !?, !, etc. Does anyone know how
to do this?

Interestingly, for both the Fritz and Shredder books approximately 25% of their
postions were unique compared to the Elect book. I believe for statistical
purposes games were double counted for win/loss/draw percentages. Would this
render the statistics meaningless, or is there another way I could have created
the new book with more statistical accuracy? I assume not without the game
databases from which the books were created.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Ralph

P.S. Forgot a question: Is there a way to mark this opening book as read only so
that I don't accidentally add in more learning or change it in any way? My GUI
is Fritz 7 version.
