Thanks, George...now I am clear on it. Is Deep Sjeng really that good? Is it
better than say Ruffian 1.0.1? I'd like to play against it sometime. I play at
Chess.net on fridays and saturdays and there are several computers there. 3 of
them I had the fortune to beat but my friend Pavel or Ed Panek, instituted a
formula where no human player under 1800 may play them. This is unfair I think.
It does lighten their load in conducting the game against humans but for humans
who would wish to improve the quality or strength of their game by playing a
computer the chance has been sorely curtailed. When I was beating these
computers my rating went up to over 2000 but now I had been losing to 1500s so
my present rating is now 1760. A few more points and I can play against Pavel's
computers again, I hope.

Perhaps Pavel has a Sjeng or if you play in that website, you could play me by
being assisted by the redshift version of Sjeng. What say you, my friend?

My very best,
sandi
