in the rebel12 directory there is

1. readme file in english with explanations
2. manual with almost any feature explained


there you can find information.

do you start rebel under windows ?

start it with rebel w7 parameter.

than you can setup MORE hashtables.

the number behind the w gives the size of your RAM.


REBEL 12 and hash tables
        ========================

        REBEL 12 will start with a default hash table size
        of 4 Mb to avoid any Windows swap behavior.

        However if you want to be in control yourself then add
        the "W"parameter to the command line. Here is the list:

        REBEL 12 Hash table parameters
        ==============================

        - REBEL W1   512 Kb
        - REBEL W2     4 Mb
        - REBEL W3    13 Mb  best value for the use of a  32 Mb Pc
        - REBEL W4    28 Mb  best value for the use of a  48 Mb Pc
        - REBEL W5    40 Mb  best value for the use of a  64 Mb Pc
        - REBEL W6    60 Mb  best value for the use of a 128 Mb Pc
        - REBEL W7   100 Mb  best value for the use of a 192 Mb Pc
        - REBEL W8   200 Mb  best value for the use of a 256 Mb Pc
        - REBEL W9   400 Mb  best value for the use of a 512 Mb Pc or up
