Are you running Fritz 8 with a screensaver on or another program running on the
background? Also I noticed that if you are using Windows XP and you have a
family member looged and then you log as well it will slow down Fritz 8. Try to
log off every other users before you run Fritz 8 and make sure that you are NOT
running any Screensaver or other programs that is eating up memory in the
background.
