Pondering was on - each program ran on 1 CPU, which I always checked to make sure it was correct. Unified HIARCS_TOURN book made from file on Chessbase Support under HIARCS 8. Time control was 40 moves/ 2 hours. Fritz 7.0.0.8 The King was DEFAULT - although I intended to use a modified personality, it was not done and it is clear the default was assigned based on the *.trn file. Mike
