Even though I visually recognize the mistake it is nice to begin to understand why it happens. I am not sure about "special search algorithm for analysis is not important". However I believe many people purchase Fritz for analysis and I see it as an ugly mark on professional grade software. Crafty (19.03 CB), Shredder7 (CB), and Yace Paderborn (UCI) apparently handle it better. A tribute to those authors, whether it was intentional or byproduct. Continued success on your engine but don't forget the Chess, that is why I always liked your post :) BK
