Subject: J U N I O R 5.0 has finally arrived

Author: Moritz Berger

Today, I found a Junior 5 CD in my mail.

Some features include:
- favour sacrifices on /off
- random play (just slightly random deviations, I presume ...)
- extra king safety evaluation on/off (handicap)

Crafty settings
- "no tricks" -> optimized play against humans
- computer opponent - accept draws more easily

Clip analysis to Windows clipboard

Auto232 support (BUT not for Fritz 5 engine).

Contempt value (finally!)

Fritz 5 (16 bit, 5-10% slower than F5.16) is included but requires the original
Fritz 5 CD the first time you start it - so (unlike Crafty and EXChess) it
doesn't come for free with the $60 Junior 5 package.

Just a few first impressions ... Kramnik really sounds impressed in the
interview about Junior's positional understanding that's also on the CD as an
.AVI video clip.
