Here's a "hint". In the 1970's, I was invited each year to enter "blitz" in the Mississippi state chess championship, and I agreed, and sort of "broke even" each year, not being able to beat the experts and masters. In 1981 I rode into town on a shiney new Cray-1 supercomputer, and won every round including beating the N-time former state champion, a USCF master. We were *not* invited back again... :)
