some weak points in evaluation of most engines, including most of the top-programs: 1) rooks in the corner; in many known openings, Belgrado gambit, Scotch Qh4, Taxler, and some more variants a knight is capturing a rook in the corner; but similar things can happen outside book theory. Later on however in the game the knight then can be captured back by the opposing king. Usually this is outside the engine's horizon and i dont know of any engine (maybe Mchess?) which gives a penalty for the knight in such a case.. 2) open fields in front of a rook; eg. in case of the Benko gambit there's a lot of pressure against the white queen-side, yet most engines don't see this. 3) more ? PS fundamentally the Traxler might not be correct, and maybe even the Benko gambit as well, but as is evaluated now by engines i think they still are *far* too materialistic !
