You clearly need one of the stronger engines. Yes I think that we can have nunn1 numbers for chess engines at different time controls. free chess engines that can beat Fritz8 at the nunn match with 3:1 time odd will have nunn1 number 1(probably Ruffian or Sos but I guess the number is small and I will be surprised if you find 20 different engines). chess engines without nunn1 number 1 that can score more than 50% against engines with nunn1 number 1 with 3:1 time odd in the nunn1 match will have nunn1 number 2. We continue in that way and can get nunn1 number for all the engines. I think that if someone does this project for all the free engines at different time controls then it may be interesting. Uri
