I remember that I read in the past that the difference is only +100 and the +100 stops to be correct at the high level. I suspect that there is no y=ax+b formula with a=1. I think that it may be better if computers with constant rating will participate in tournaments and the rating of humans will be also relative to computers. at least computers that are not better than 2600 of today should be allowed to participate in Fide tournaments. It is possible also to use good programs at handicapped level(delfi has levels between 1300 and 1800 that are not dependent on computer speed). It is important to care that the computers that participate will not be deterministic and that there is not going to be a simple weakness that humans can often take advantage of it. Uri
