When I tried this it would hang rebel? That could have been my faulty setup!

In no way do I blame Rebel for the dos auto232 player!!  All my venom would be
spat at this 10 year oldish program!!  Rebel has been a great program and
continues to get better!!

One bug that comes to mind in the old dos 232, no underpromotion.  I have seen
timeouts on one occasion, one move played and a different one tranmitted.  One
guy you could ask is Bob Hyatt. if I recal, he mentions the dos232 as a not very
good thing?
