I think that the result suggests that
the gap between good amateurs and top programs is clearly more than 3:1

Another possibility is that Fritz8 is tuned for the nunn match but in that case
I expect people to show Tao winning nunn match from
other positions.

There were games that were lost on time in a drawn positions but
it happened to both sides and did not change the result or did not change it
significantly

16 mbytes was used as hash for both sides.
