The King 3.23_Pillen beats Shredder 7.04 ! in a Nunn2 match; 29-21 Inspired by the results of Manfred Meilers Weltmeister test, I decided to play the number 1 of the WM-test, The King 3.23_Pillen-settings against the number1 of the SSDF-list, Shredder 7.04 with the following result: +19 =20 -11 Conditions: Computer: dual Athlon 1400. Time= 60 min. (blitz.) Ponder =on, No openingsbook, Nunn 2 database. The King hash= 128MB Shredder 7.04 hash = 256MB. King settings = Pillen Shredder settings= standard. Tablebases = off . If you like, I can mail you the PGN-file with the evaluations of both engines and, of course, the games. Just mail me and tomorrow you got the PGN-file for free :-) The next match is against Tiger 15.0, under the same conditions, but The King uses the Hiarcs8 book and Tiger uses its own book. Has someone already tested The king 3.23 – Shredder 7.04 at tournament level??? Kind regards from the Netherlands, Andre van Ark
