You may argue "this war is illegal", all you wish - it just doesn't change the
facts. Saddam has easily killed more than 1,800,00 people in his various
war-mongering efforts against his neighbors, and destroyed over 200 villages of
the Kurds in his bid to wipe them off the face of the earth.

Now that he's shot vx nerve gas into so many Kurdish villages, the people's DNA
has been damaged, made unstable, and continues to degrade in the victim's cells.

What I found revealing was the specifics of killing the people who try to speak
out against his regime. Do you like the plastic shredder that his people put the
victim into. Just nothing like hearing them scream as their body is being
shredded from the feet on up, like jumping feet first into a big chipper
machine. You might like the baths better though - the victim is put into a
container of highly reactive chemicals. The chemicals eat away the victim's skin
in 15 minutes to the accompainment of the victim's horrid screams.

You can see uninformed people protesting this war - but there's usually a
difference between them and the war's supporters. The supporters remember the
video of the 9/11/01 attack, leaping out of the WTCenter, hoping to avoid being
burned alive. So many, thudding down. Even hitting the firemen trying to access
the building to save the survivors.

After YOUR country has 3,000 civilians killed in a single day, THEN write and
tell us how you feel about a dictator who does business with terrorists. (Yes,
Saddam has trained several terrorists, including some members of Al Qaeda).

The US military does NOT target civilian targets for bombing - but Saddam does
place his military equipment and personnel in places like hospitals, schools,
residential area's, etc. War is war, and civilian damages and deaths will occur.
Not every bomb or missile will fly true - just ask the Saudi's, Iran and Turkey
about the Tomahawk cruise missiles that landed there, instead of Iraq!

The US state department can give Bruce general guidelines and a threat
assessment for traveling abroad. Yes, there is currently a danger because of the
backlash against the US. It may be wrong, but Americans are not well liked by
the Muslim extremists. They can't believe we're not interested in taking over
Iraq, they can't believe we aren't out to fight against all Muslim's.

But what will they say after we leave Iraq? Just like we left Germany, Japan,
Phillipines, Morroco, Egypt, Algeria, Italy, etc.

An obvious conflict of freedoms: not one Muslim country is a democracy. Not one.

If Bruce should change his mind, he would be wise to not announce it, and keep a
low profile while abroad, despite Rolf's offer to be a "human shield". :)
