It is only 1 person who has this twisted kind ofthaughts many will suport you, So there realy are better reasons to not go. And I even have doubts Chrilly in has heart realy ment what he wrote. I would look at it as a sick joke. Rather then too take it serious. About the Strategy of the coalition If they first tried to send navy seals and comando's to clear up the Iraqi head pieces (No mather if they where sucsesfull or not) and only then attacked the rest of the Iraqi troops Left in chaos. the coaltion would have been welcomed by the Iraq citizens, and some soldiers. Now they have strong doubts. (In gulf war 1 they where left with Sadam and his regime.) And even the once who where at first happy with the war become a potential risk. Because they see family and/or friends die And still are not sure of the intentions of the coalition. Which is bad for the coalition and the Iraqis. An other factor is that now nobody knows if Sadam is dead or alive This then would have been clear. I actualy mean to say that some words and deeds can change the way people look at you. Ofcourse being a soldier has totaly no impact on this mather It are the gouvernments and Generals who have to decide about this. And this strategy mostlikely was not used because they are too spoiled with modern equipment. forgeting the most obvious strategy. I also think it is now to late for this strategy. It should have been used in the start of the war Marc >>So for the one who did send the email >>Many Americans and Brits do not suport the war in Iraq. >>So don't hate al Americans and/or Brits for it. >>Even many soldiers didn't want to go but it is there job. >>So it is tragic to send such emails >>What if you would be a Father >> a mother >> A son >> A daughter >> Or a friend of the person who died ? >> >>So think again before doing it again. >> >> >> >>Marc >> >>
