The Rebel chess program is now free and has a ton of chess knowledge that can
also be tweaked.

When studying old Grandmaster games and interesting positions I can think of no
program better at finding the solutions than this one!

It is a stand alone program though and is not available as a Winboard/UCI.  That
is why I thought of Gromit/Anaconda
