The first thing that comes to mind is that with DTM, every successive "level"
4-piece to 5
piece" adds to the depth of mate.  With DTC this is not as bad.  1=byte values
might work
for DTC for a while, and if we follow the rules for chess, it will work
_forever_ since you
can't go more than 50 moves before you push something capture something.
