Dear Jose, First of all, my opinion is that Bookup will be the best chess software you'll ever buy. I have an old version, I think it's 5.3. Anyway, I suppose you could play against it by opening up an empty book. However, it wont move, so you will have to force it to move at either a specified time, or when you think it's found a satisfactory move. It's possible that the later versions (mine is about 12-years old) will have a chess playing engine. Why not try the Bookup website for more information? All the best, Stephen
