Thanks to all of you for suggestions and insight, which I'm making a note of for next time I visit a chess book store. However, what I was in particular interested to know was how these other great books compare to "understanding chess, move by move". OR, now that I have that, what do I need more to complete my understanding, IF I do (need), even if I study that book dilligently, and am already around expert standard (to be sure-not TOO far). Thanks! S.Taylor [Also, being that John Nunn has probably studied in depth, and understands fully about all of the other mentioned books, better than most, wouldn't it be likely that he might be including everything useful and more in one very special book that he has written? (especially if it looks like it. And therefore I wanted to know how it "compares", from someone who has looked well into that book too)].
