Same for DF and Kramnik. Because Kasparov has also lost more games in his life than has DJ. Even if DB 97 is above Kasparov, that's mainly due to one game. The truth might even be-3,5,2,4,1, in that order, 3 being the top. There's absolutely no value in these ratings, any fool can understand that. S.Taylor
