Subject: Ridiculous RAM requirement for 6-man TBs?

So I've downloaded the 3/3 tables from bob, and I'm wondering why they take so
much memory.

tablebase_init(): found EGTBs with up to 6 pieces.
tablebase_init(): EGTB indices & decompression using 197659kb of memory

Thats 200MB of ram right there, and I'm not even done downloading.  Not only
that, but they take almost 10 seconds to initialize.  Have I misconfigured
something, or are they just that much of a memory hog?
