What is the true measure of Grandmaster play? Is it the ability to achieve
a rating of or higher than 2500? Is it the ability to balance a position after
being handicapped by lesser material forces? I realize that to be awarded the GM
title one has to pass a special test. Does this test measure the ability
outmaneuver an opponent from a thourougly imbalanced position?
