Marc,

you give a fantastic argument! I admire Christophe for his programming
qualities, also his humour, but in giving good arguments I don't fear his
participation. This is also the reason why I would never coose kids for such a
job. I had a few exchanges with several people (young ones) and I saw that they
have no understanding of the core of what I said. However with Bob or say Ed
Schroder I never had a problem. That means: to be a mod you must at least have a
complex understnasig of language. If not and - and now the most important - if
you are basically authoritarian, I could give names but that would contradict
the charta of CCC! - then someone misunderstands what you write and tells you to
shut up. That looks foolish.

Or take pavs - I only give his name because he's a mod in CTF! Pavs as a
moderator came running and wrote that I were well known for being such and such.
Adding a clear insult. His sole logic was to reply that he was NOT insulting me
as a mod but as a noemal member. Know what I mean? I always thought that the
insulting is the forbidden activity. Following pavs it is different. He thinks
it is fair to insult if you take care that you don't insult as a moderator!
ROFL

I think it should be clear that you can't even discuss a thing with such kids.

The same with your argument. Certain people here want to see the label "friend"
on your name. And that label then allows people=friends to talk nonsense. s
sNonsense from a friend is allowed. But good arguments from a non-friend are bad
stuff by definition. This is logically outrageous. But certain people can't
understand such details. So they are forced to look for the friend-label. But it
is easy to see why such people are dangerous moderators.
