Christophe makes a very interesting point. Not only does the Fritz GUI manage
the book aggressively but this can also be further fine tuned by the player to
adjust the weights based on as many (or few) repeats of the position as the
player desires and to the ply depth specified by the player as well. Also, the
ability to actually import the games with full analysis into the opening book is
invaluable especially after learning from the database and importing the
priority analysis for the lines. And if that isnt enough the player can always
go into the book manually and set the weights even higher to force fritz to play
the line each time that particular position repeats itself. As one who makes
many books for use on the server I am forced to agree that these abilities will
grant at least the 20 elo if not more.
