One has to wonder if after the match with strongest human player whether the Junior team will steer the programs evaluation towards aggressive play, typical of the Junior7 version, or whether they will try to create a Computer verses Computer monster. We can hope that the next version has the insanity of Junior7(which i love!) and the stable, grinding, positional play of Fritz and or others. Can a chess programs evaluation be tuned to understand that certain positions require aggressive, if not insane complications, but others should be handled more careful with a positional sense. What i am getting at is can an Engine have the ability to Change its style or evaluation function by assessing the given boards position. Has this idea been explored? ........Cheers~
