It's not the point to exploit weaknesses of Shredder or Fritz, but they are very
strong opponents. If You let your program play against them, they will "help"
you to find weaknesses of your own program. Just let a strong chess player
analyse these games to find patterns.
Anyway the best method to improve my chess is to learn from lost games.
But perhaps in computer chess test suits are the better method to find
weaknesses?
