I am considering 'going wireless' at home, the current target kit being:
- 802.11b standard, rather than 802.11a or 802.11g
i.e. 11Mbps nominal at 2.4GHz rather than 54Mbps/5GHz or 54Mbps/2.4GHz
any issues around range/interference?
- Netgear DG824M Integrated DSL Modem and 802.11b Wi Router
- Netgear MA401 PCMCIA Adaptor
I live in a largish house but not on a farm. Main input is ~800Kb/sec ADSL.
I'm interested in any user-feedback on wireless working, 802.11a/b/g and this
kit in particular.
Assuming others are interested in wireless, hopefully this is 'on topic'.
