I apologize for starting my last post. I can't believe the nerve of some people
today, Who would say the attacking and insulting things that he said, "V.D.",
some people need to just grow up. Firstly Mr. Theron has one of the best
programs on the market and is even willing to give for free a linux/freebsd
version to the community in his spare time.
He listed a group of projects that he is working on and I gave a modified
version of it “only as a wish list” as I know he is a very busy man and I gave
my reasoning for priority that was all. I in no way wanted to start that silly
smp thing up I made no reference to anything more than he was going to do
anyway, and if I thought that it was going to end like this I would have never
posted at all.
A word to the wise “be thankful for what you do have and don't worry about what
you don't” mainly because he or anyone else owes you nothing.
I just don't see what he has to gain by creating smp tiger before doing these
things:
* A Linux/bsd version of Chess Tiger w/ great gui ie. Eboard or better.
* A native ARM version of Chess Tiger for Palm
* Chess Tiger 16
Also I looked hard at whether to buy a duel mb and go dual in the new system
that I'm building and for price and performance reasons I decided to go w/
single amd and overclock it. I remember figuring it out to be just more money
but not enough performance to justify it. In the end the best argument I had for
dual system was to play crafty on it. Oh boy. Not to mention how many people
have palms now look at the number of people that have duals. I can see his point
well, two of the things on his list will make money and that keeps him in
business.
Please except my apology for my part in starting that smp garbage Mr Theron
that was not my intent.
btw if you are listening v.d. Mr. Theron could stop working on ct. now and would
still have made more money than you w/ diep so why do you think you are better.
To make the statments that you have already proves envy and lack of control,
lets face it you are just weak on and off the board. I still remember our games
and your excuses.
