I'm really worried about this! I prefer more stable prices. The chess programs price should be the same during the whole product life. Simply, manifacturers should always take back old stocks from retailers, to eliminate the problem of price changes. 120 USD is ok only if you have full support from retailers/manifacturers (eg. quick e-mail assistance), due to the fact that optimizing a chess program is not so simple (giving a lot of troubles to retailers) and this is a little market. So the 60 USD extra price (in comparison with a mass marked game like Quake II) is justified if you offer REAL assistance. BUT I think that only who gives the best assistance to the last end-user can grow in this difficult market!
