I WAS a little distressed at the the beinning (regarding interpretations of my post) but I got over it anyway. But I was also a little tired when I started the thread. Chess programmers would seem to deserve first honours in this forum, as it is their work which is being discussed. I also come here alot as I am crazy over the very idea of computers playing chess, and of chess itself. S.Taylor
