Subject: Hello their programmer - Testposition with 3 games!!!

Author: Eduard Nemeth

Date: 09:23:53 04/11/03

English:

Hello their programmer!

Only once the following position looks at you, a composition of me:

[D]8/4pBp1/4PkP1/4p1p1/4P1P1/1r6/5K2/8 b - - 0 1

 my analysis: 1... Rc3 2.Bg8 Kxg6 3.Bf7+ Kf6 4.Bg8 Rc6 5.Bf7 [ 5.Kf3 Rxe6
6.Bxe6 Kxe6 7.Ke3 Kd6 8.Kd3 Kc5 9.Kc3 e6 10.Kd3 and black wins ] 5... Rxe6
6.Bxe6 Kxe6 and black wins!

Black needs only the tower on the 6. To bring ROOK to exchange and it for
Bishop + Pawn. The Pawn endgame is easily won thereafter! In addition, black
first pawn can get (see analysis above) and then only the tower to sacrifice.

Now, of it some programs have however no notion! -)

I out-played the position indicated above against Ruffian 1,0,1, cunning 5,04
and Fritz 8,005 in the 5' lightning, and I got even draw 3x!

I have long time only despair the only possible moves played, i.e. I was not
allowed to permit that the black tower at the field f4 arrived.

GMs malfunctioned the silicone nevertheless!

Here it out-played the 3 games , whereby I entered the position in each case
again always over "position input", and her thereafter.

All games under the Fritz GUI with 64 MT hash: The first games was against
Ruffian 1.0.1 (see PGN):

All games Draw with 50 move rules!!!

Thus, I would still understand if a program after approximately 5 moves the
“TICK” :), do not find, but if I create it (not geschummelt) in lightning 3x
draw to get, then that is an indication for it that the programs here no notion
has with this position.

Do you mean not also?
