To those interested in Rebel 10: Rebel 10 installed effortlessly. It ran in a full screen, on the first try, from a Win95 shortcut, allocating itself 40 Megs for hash, more than any of my other chess programs can use on my system. This, the downloadable version, and presumably the CD version also, comes with a program that creates correct shortcuts. If I reboot to DOS, go to the Rebel 10 directory, and enter "rebel", it automatically allocates 60 Megs for itself. I did not have to edit config.sys or autoexec.bat. Without the overhead of Windows 95, its self-test reports 2 rating points more. This is nothing. With Alt+Tab, I can play it against my other programs. Unfortunately, there might be one bug, (which might be my fault): Sometimes a keystroke is required to close a dropdown menu, rather than a mouse click.
